I look for beauty and truth in everything. It's not always there of course but I try to find it or make it happen. I love people who make me laugh.

Spring

Like so many others we observed the annual Earth Day ritual last Saturday night. It's really no sacrifice to switch out the lights and enjoy the candles, and yes, the t.v. was on. They say it's allowed.
And so in honour of Earth and Spring I took the following pictures.

The snow has melted and things are revealed. Here's a stepping-stone I made out of concrete several years ago, surrounded by wooly thyme.

Wonder of wonders- the goldfish have survived another winter! The babies are there too but are hard to see. They're black but will change to orange as they grow.

Tiny crocus bloom...

...and of course, the golden globe stands free.

I planned on doing that, but then we were not home. So I guess I did do it by default.

I can see you in your globe!

It's not easy to take a shot of the globe without being in it! I tried sneaking up on it from behind but it always knows I'm there.
