Textures

I was out walking this afternoon, looking for November inspiration, which takes some doing. The bark on these old trees has a certain charm for me; I like texture. Now the trick will be to translate these rather dull-looking images into some kind of painting. Will they be watercolours or something else? I don't know yet.
