I look for beauty and truth in everything. It's not always there of course but I try to find it or make it happen. I love people who make me laugh.

TREES

For almost a year now I've been participating in an Art Journal round-robin wherein once a month each of us, and we are 14 in number, is handed a journal belonging to another artist. To each journal we add an entry according to the owner's theme of choice. This month I received the TREE themed journal and here's the watercolour I just finished to glue onto its pages. I thought a winter tree appropriate for this time of year. You may recognize our weeping birch from a photo in a previous post.
I just hope the owner of this journal doesn't look at this blog yet as she isn't supposed to see any of her journal till it gets back to her sometime in February.

The following images are of various other trees I have painted over the years. I hope you enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed painting them.
